I recently saw a friend's blog and realized it would be a good way for me to save and share my thoughts and experiences about travel. Ever since I did my first international tour with students in 1998, I have developed a passion for travel. I love it all...the planning, the expectations, the cultural differences, and most of all, sharing travel with friends and family.
Now that I am retired, my focus has shifted from traveling with students to mentoring first-time group leaders, who are taking kids abroad...and traveling with Charlie, friends, and family. It's all good!
This blog reminds me of diaries/journals I would keep when I was young! I hope that anyone who stumbles upon it, especially when I'm posting pix and thoughts while on a tour, will enjoy reading it!
